In May 2022, Fabien Onteniente announced that he was working on the sequel to his comedy about football 3 zeros released in 2002.
Worn by Lorànt Deutsch, Samuel Le Bihan and Gerard Lanvin, the first film attracted 1,271,238 spectators in cinemas. It was about Tibor Kovacs, a young Hungarian football virtuoso inmate, who dreams of playing for the French team. Karim Benzema will ultimately not be in the casting
Co-written by Onteniente and Antonin Fourlon (Guarded Hunt), this sequel is led by Gérard Lanvin and Isabelle Nanty, already in the cast of the previous film, joined by Didier Bourdon, Shy’m, Kaaris, Paul Deby and Mamadou Haïdara.
As in the previous opus, many guests have also been announced in the casting. Among them: Roland Courbis, Didier Drogba, David Ginola, Guy Roux, Presnel Kimpembe, Fabrice Abriel, Mohamed Henni, Djimo, Arriles Amrani as well as the channel’s journalists The Team. Paris Saint-Germain will be a partner of the feature film, as it already was in 2002, at the time of 3 Zeros in which we could see some of the players of the time, Ronaldinho in the lead. Fabien Onteniente also filmed several sequences during the Ligue 1 match between PSG and Rennes at the Parc des Princes on February 25.
