With Antoinette in the Cévennes, released in a disaster context for the cinema, this solar comedy (and animal, with the irresistible donkey Patrick!) had defied all predictions by establishing itself as one of the successes of the year: an excellent press rating of 4 out of 5, 800,000 admissions (8th biggest French success of the year 2020), and a César to end the extraordinary career of this film!
For their reunion, the actress and the filmmaker change scenery. Scenes of Parisian life have replaced the greenery of the Cévennes. Freshness and humor are, however, still at the heart of this sparkling and fashionable comedy, as illustrated in the trailer to be seen above.
