10 Chambers (GTFO) Teases New Payday-Style Cooperative Heist Game

Ulf Andersson worked for a long time at Overkill Software, he is the designer of the franchise Paydaycooperative heist games heavily inspired by the film Heat by Michael Mann. The Swede has since founded 10 Chambersdeveloper of GTFOa FPS cooperative in the same vein, but with a horrifying vibe.

A very nice title, but fans of Payday would like to find this atmosphere at the Heat. Payday 3 is not expected before 2023, at Overkill and PrimeMatterbut 10 Chambers also wants to return to his first love. In an interview with NMEUlf Andersson announces that his next game will be a return to his roots. The title will be a “cooperative robbery FPS” in a “techno-thriller” atmosphere. He explains that he reads a lot of science fiction books and imagines a title cyberpunkenough to intrigue the players.

However, the rhythm should be differentUlf Andersson indicates that the action in Payday only escalated without ever falling back, this next game should be a bit different in its pacing. Regarding the difficulty, it should be much less than that of GTFOa sometimes frustrating game where players can die after an hour of play and start from scratch.

Don’t expect to get your hands on this new game of 10 Chambers anytime soon, it doesn’t yet have a name, platform set, the studio is only in pre-production, but “things are accelerating quite quickly”. You can find Payday 2: Legacy Collection at €14.99 on Gamesplanet.
