Did you know ? The Marvels is the 33rd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the 3rd in Phase 5, after Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Guardians of the Galaxy 3. It also follows Captain Marvel, released in 2019, and is a continuation of the series WandaVision (2021) and Miss Marvel (2022).

Did you know ? The Passion of Dodin Bouffant is adapted from the Swiss novel The Life and Passion of Dodin-Bouffant by Marcel Rouff, published in 1924. For the occasion, director Trần Anh Hùng returns behind the camera seven years after his last film, the drama Éternité.

What is it about ? A Polish van travels the roads of Ukraine. On board, Maciek Hamela evacuates inhabitants who have fled their country since the Russian invasion. The vehicle then becomes an ephemeral refuge, a zone of trust and confidences.
Did you know ? According to the director, it was emotion that dictated the narration of the film during editing: “The stories do not all have the same emotional scope, and one of the challenges is to make all the chosen stories audible, to create resonances between them. The internal rhythm of the shots, their tension, brings us closer together with a greater strength and accuracy of the people who share this moment of their life with us.”

Did you know ? Monia Chokri began structuring the script for Simple comme Sylvain while she was finishing her first feature film, My Brother’s Wife, released in 2019. She then got down to business, while devoting herself to her acting career , to Babysitter, his second production. “Simple as Sylvain, it’s been about two and a half years since I really started writing it. I see this time that I took as an ally”she confides.

With Goodbye Julia, Mohamed Kordofani wants to launch “a call to maintain the unity of what remains of Sudan, which is still mired in the same dilemma, and which should be addressed at several levels”. According to him, it is the role of art to raise awareness. “Reconciliation must be a national project to preserve what remains of Sudan and to build a new national identity, built on values of humanity, coexistence and justice rather than race, tribe and gender”he hopes.
