- Seven people had to be treated for smoke inhalation – four of them had to be taken to the hospital. They have already been able to leave the hospital.

The fire was under control by 9:30 p.m. that evening. Most of the fire brigades from the region would have left the fire area again, said Adrian Bieri, spokesman for the Aargau canton police, late on Sunday evening.
At around 10:00 p.m., the rescue workers let another drone fly. She had a thermal imaging camera on board to discover any embers that were still there. The area around the burned-out warehouse remains cordoned off, says Bieri.
The forensics will start their work this Monday. The cause of the fire is not yet known. The result should probably not be available until next week.
Motorway back to normal traffic
The A1 motorway between the Würenlos service area and Dietikon is open again and can be driven on normally. The right lane towards Bern was closed in the evening because of the heavy smoke.
The fire alarm went off at 4:30 p.m. Trucks parked near the building burst into flames. The dark plume of smoke could be seen for miles.
The burning bitumen and insulation materials of the buildings caused dense, black smoke and heavy flying ash, which led to small fires on the embankment of the highway. The wind made it even more difficult to extinguish the fire.
