Area extensive, extinguishing work difficult
Since the area is extensive, numerous forces were called in to get the flames under control. A total of 100 firefighters from eleven fire departments were deployed, and more than 20 respiratory protection teams fought the fire. According to Thürr, the extinguishing work was extremely difficult, simply because of the size of the area.
