100 Thieves part ways with their two rookies, BabyJ and ec1s, after just two games

Today, we have the right to big changes in news on VALORATING. Adam “ec1s” Eccles and Hunter “BabyJ” Schline were the two newest additions to the 100 Thieves roster. Recruited during the month of December, they had been called in to fill the places left free by steel and nitr0, having left the team recently. While they have only played two matches under the colors of the Thieves, they are already on the start, the fault of the poor results that the team knows at present within the Challengers NA.

So they only argued two matches with the rest of the roster during the Challengerswhich resulted in two defeats, 2-0 against Cloud9 then 2-1 against The Guard. During their match against The Guard, which took place yesterday, the Thieves had the right to their first 13-0 loss since joining the competitive VALORANT scene, on Ascent. In view of these results, the structure therefore decided to parting ways with ec1s and BabyJ, who didn’t seem to fit in well with the direction the team was heading. We are free to think that their future within the roster was played during their match against The Guardsince the announcement of their departure was only made shortly after this defeat.

To replace them, the Californian team decided to bring in Sean “bang” Bezerra and Noah “jcStani” Smithrespectively from from Built By Gamers and Pioneers, who join the 100 Thieves loan. They haven’t gotten to much to qualify for the Challengers with their teams and will now try to make up for the somewhat negative balance that the 100 Thieves experienced at the start of the season. Neither will recover however the role of IGL what ec1s left behind, since it was Ethan who confirmed that he would take over this responsibility for the team.

This new roster, made up of the other three Thieves players, Ethan, Asuna and Hikofrom now on joined by bang and jcStaniwill therefore play his first match next Sunday against Luminosity. The 100 Thieves will be looking to make up for this difficult start to the season, the team in 5th place in its group within the Challengers, but aiming for a place at the next Masters.
