1000 hp scrap – Here the most powerful Ferrari in the world crashes in the video

There are two ways to react to this video (apart from “is ma wuascht”): with glee – or dismay, because a fascinating piece of automobile is now just one piece from which several pieces are missing. Anyway, this is where a Ferrari SF90 Stradale crashes into a row of parked cars.

The SF90 Stradale is the first hybrid car from the Italians, with a total of 1000 hp and 800 Nm, and a good 1.5 tons dry weight. The four-liter turbocharged V8 engine behind the driver’s cab delivers 780 hp, 220 hp comes from three electric motors, one of which sits between the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the other two are each assigned to a front wheel. There is no reverse gear, the electric motors are used for maneuvering. With all-wheel drive of this kind, the sprint to 100 km/h is possible in 2.5 seconds, after 6.7 seconds the 200 km/h falls and the top speed is 340 km/h. In the video, it only takes about a second from car to scrap. These are images from a surveillance camera. You can see a few parked small cars. In the next moment, the Ferrari races up, shoots down the first of them and thus sets off a chain reaction. The hypercar crashes into the cars with great speed. Apart from the front end, the wreck appears relatively intact. However, the door can no longer be opened. It can still be seen how the apparently unharmed driver climbs out of the open side window. He is said to have fled on foot after the crash, but according to the police he was identified. How fast the Ferrari was on impact is not known. One thing is certain, it is the most powerful production Ferrari of all (so far) times. However, not the most expensive: around 430,000 euros NoVA not included). Copies are currently being offered on online platforms from around 100,000 euros above this list price.
