1,000 little girls will receive inspirational letters

On the occasion of International Women's Rights Day, the government is launching Operation 1000 Possibles. Letters written by French women to 1,000 little girls who will be born on March 8, 2021. Children will be able to discover these messages from French personalities including singers, politicians, sportswomen or even business leaders.

Inspire future generations at the dawn of their lives. This is the objective of the "1000 Possibles" operation, launched by Élisabeth Moreno, Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister in charge of Equality between Women and Men, Diversity and Equal Opportunities. “On March 8, International Women's Day, I wanted to send a message of hope to the 1,000 little girls who will be born through a letter that they will receive signed by a woman from whom they can, more late, draw inspiration ”, indicates the government press release.

Thus, nearly 40 French women have written letters to 1,000 little girls who will be born on March 8, 2021, with an inspiring and hopeful mantra: “Nothing will be impossible for you who will be the women of tomorrow”.

To celebrate the women, an awards ceremony will take place, live on Twitter and Facebook. 18 awards will be awarded by Élisabeth Moreno for civic and associative initiatives that promote equality between women and men. “This operation is aimed at all women who want to transmit an intergenerational message. Yesterday's battles and today's struggles for women's rights are real sources of inspiration for tomorrow. ”
