10,000 dollars for a prosthesis in Charged à bloc on Netflix: the actor preferred to go naked!

In Chargés à bloc, Hagerty’s interpreter played the game in episode 1 by daring to go full frontal… even though the production had already purchased his prosthesis!

Fully loaded, it’s the latest Netflix series that’s a hit on the platform. This fiction imagined by the Cobra Kai team follows elite soldiers tracking down a terrorist network that plans to attack Las Vegas. After a festive and heavily alcoholic end-of-mission party, the team discovers that the bomb they deactivated was a decoy…

This imitation Very Bad Trip which mixes all the action films of the 90s is prohibited on the platform for those under 18 years old for its ultra-present nudity. It’s simple: the screenwriters wanted to show the decadent side of the American city, between sex, drugs and rock’n roll.

From the first episode, the viewer witnesses several trashy scenes, including a full frontal from actor C. Thomas Howell (Hagerty). Completely high on drugs (which he cleverly mixed with guacamole), the group’s bomb squad appears stark naked in front of his colleagues, even though they have just received their mission order.

Loaded up on Netflix: what could season 2 look like?

In a crazy interview given to Colliderthe creators of Chargés à bloc made a funny revelation regarding this scene:

“It’s the morning of filming this scene. We had spent $10,000 on a prosthesis that was supposed to hide his anatomy. C. Thomas calls us the same morning to tell us “You know what? I will do it. I have to do it. I want to do it. I don’t need a prosthesis.”

A choice which made the writers laugh but which was not followed by his other partners, like Terrence Terrell (Trunk). In episode 5, his character has his private parts tasered in a torture scene. And it is indeed a prosthesis that we see this time.
