Italy has introduced compulsory corona testing for travelers from the EU, and it also applies to vaccinated people. The Ministry of Health in Rome has now announced that anyone entering Italy must have taken a negative test for the virus in their country of origin. Whereby: This applies to vaccinated travelers. Unvaccinated or recovered people must be in quarantine for five days in any case. This tightening applies immediately and is initially planned until the end of January. An antigen test must not be older than 24 hours at the time of entry, a PCR test not older than 48 hours. The situation is also worsening in Italy.
