A 13-year-old child was slapped and insulted at Fashion Week by a security guard during the Louis Vuitton show. The video of the scene, broadcast on social networks, shocks Internet users.

It’s a shame”, “it is unacceptable from a security guard”, “(he) should be prosecuted for violence and homophobic remarks!” Broadcast yesterday on social networks, a video taken in front of the entrance to the Louis Vuitton fashion show on October 4 in Paris outraged Internet users. In this very short video, shot on the phone, we see a brand security agent violently slapping a 13 year old boy telling him to calm down. The people present on the spot also testify to homophobic remarks against the teenager. The agent going so far as to insult him with “little p*dé.”

We know for the moment little of the reason which could have pushed the security guard to act in this way. According to witnesses, the young boy would have run to take photos of the celebrities who were passing to join the parade, which would not have pleased the security guard.

A slap that comes in an already tense context

Already on September 15 a 13-year-old child was violently slapped by a school bus driver in the region of Montbéliard (Doubs). The driver had first tried to calm the teenagers who were heckling a lot, without success. One of the young boys then gave him the middle finger in return. The driver then decided to stop the bus in order to slap the 13-year-old teenager. The information had also shocked a lot on social networks, and a complaint was filed by the boy’s family.
