15 easy egg recipes for kids

The symbol of Passover is the egg! But, and we don't often think about it, it's the egg in all its forms and not just the chocolate egg. So to vary the pleasures and create entertaining starter eggs that are fun and easy to make with children, here are some ideas to follow.

Not only will children love creating these eggs, which are all more fun than each other, but it may also encourage the most reluctant to eat eggs!

Hens, roosters and chicks

To create these adorable egg-chicks just out of the egg it's very simple. In carrots cut small legs (one leg and the webbed end). Insert them in the hard-boiled eggs and voila.

Cook hard-boiled eggs
Shell them
Cut the top of the hard boiled eggs
Remove the yolk and mix it with mayonnaise
Return the mixture to the egg whites
Put the hat cut in the egg on top
Add two small eyes with berries for example

The company of eggsroosters simply consists of hard-boiled eggs. Crested and the beaks are cut into carrots and for the eyes, opt for berries, peppercorns or cloves.

The other animals

To create these little egg hedgehogs all cute, we must find them sharp spines. For this, you can use chives which you will have cut into small sections. Do not forget to add a small nose and two very dark eyes.

To make a little egg mouse, it is very simple: half a hard-boiled egg, two ears created with thin strips of radish, two small eyes in grains a small red muzzle (a grain of red berry will do the trick perfectly), a few small mustard chives and for the tail, a stalk of chives, fine herbs or a long sprig of grated carrot.

Very childish but perfect for convincing a child to eat hard-boiled eggs: mimosa eggs boats. A piece of ham for the sail, a piece of cheese for the flag, the sea in a salad, a few cherry-tomato fish … And that's it!

To make ghost eggs, once your eggs are hard, use a straw to hollow out the mouth and a smaller hollow element (like the back of the lead of a Bic pen for them). To create a whole family of ghosts, vary the size of the eggs.

A nice way to present basket-style mimosa eggs. For the handle, use a sprig of chives for a thin strip of zucchini. Add color to your "basket" by adding various elements to your mimosa eggs: tomatoes, herbs, peppers or even shrimp.
