More information about the new MAGNUS EN173070C Barebone

A PC much smaller than current game consoles, but with an RTX 3060, 3070 or 3080. You have to get that right first. Apparently not a problem for Zotac, because the manufacturer has managed to fit NVIDIA’s 30 series RTX into its tried-and-tested square mini-PC case from the MAGNUS-EN series (more info here).

With the small volume (2.65 liters) and dimensions of just 21 x 20 centimeters in area and 6.2 centimeters in height, the MAGNUS-EN mini PCs are ideal as a living room computer or for the small ones student pad. Depending on the desired performance and budget, you have the choice between two models with the eight-core Intel Core i7-11800H in combination with the mobile RTX 3070 or 3080. Alternatively, there is an even cheaper model with the six-core i5-11400H together with the mobile RTX 3060 .

All configurations are suitable for smooth gaming in high to very high settings. For the model with RTX 3060, Full HD would be the ideal resolution for this, with the computer with RTX 3070 QHD and the box with RTX 3080 you can really let it rip in 4K/UHD. Even creative work – from image and video editing to the calculation of special effects – is no problem with the computers.

Easy to connect and expandable

Incidentally, the MAGNUS-EN series are barebones that you can equip individually with working memory and data storage. Two DDR4 SODIMM slots for up to 64 GB are available for the RAM. If you don’t know what the term SODIMM means: These are the smaller RAM modules that are also used in notebooks.

The back is even easier to connect. There is space for four USB 3.1 devices – and directly above, as with a dedicated graphics card, there are a total of 4 monitor outputs, two of which are HDMI 2.1 and two of which are Displayport 1.4a, all of which can be used at the same time. There are also two detachable antennas for the integrated WIFI 6 and Bluetooth 5 module. Those who prefer to use cables can connect to two networks at the same time thanks to the two LAN ports – one with a maximum speed of one gigabit and one with 2.5 gigabits.

It goes without saying that with this equipment you are state-of-the-art and ready for Windows 11. And you can tell that Zotac stands by the quality of its products by the fact that there is a standard 3-year guarantee and this can be upgraded to 5 free of charge after registration years can be extended.
