1800 customers affected – power outage in the neighboring valley due to beatings

On Saturday afternoon there was a new shock for the long-suffering residents of the neighboring valley: the infrastructure was only just running again when suddenly the power went out.

From 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., a total of 1,800 Kelag customers in the Gelände valley and the surrounding area once again had to do without electricity. “During felling work in the area, a tree accidentally fell onto a power line,” explains Josef Stocker, press spokesman for Kelag. “Households were not only affected in the area, but also as far as Bad Kleinkirchheim and down to the Gerlitzen.” After a good hour and a half, the damage was repaired.
