Because they were apparently “having fun” and, according to their own statements, wanted to have a little fun at night, two young men from the Graz area curled around with construction machines without authorization and ruined 2000 square meters of cornfield in the process.
The two men, 24 and 20 years old, are suspected of having used unauthorized construction machines from a large construction site in Kalsdorf several times between July 22nd and 27th. After extensive research, police officers managed to track them down.
The Styrians also confess. According to them, they would have been “fascinated” by the construction machines and wanted to have some fun at night too. They also “plowed” 2000 square meters of maize from the adjacent field with the machines.
Both were shown. In any case, the older man doesn’t seem to take it that seriously with someone else’s property; he is in custody precisely for property crimes.
