Two very popular games, with a cult license, have arrived in the Xbox Game Pass selection for November 2023. As a bonus, there is a big surprise.
It’s time to relaunch Xbox Game Pass to discover what’s new in recent hours. As usual, the Microsoft service has indeed enhanced its catalog, already very rich, with new titles including a huge release. A game that was only available on PC until now. But a flagship production from the American manufacturer is also back even though this was not at all planned. After Wild Hearts, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name or Jusant, here is what awaits subscribers.
The ultimate Xbox Game Pass games for November 2023
Xbox Game Pass November 2023 was undoubtedly a big month, once again. In addition to offering Wild Hearts, Yakuza 7 or the French nugget Jusant, the service has made Football Manager 2024, Spirittea, Coral Island, Dungeons 4 and Persona 5 Tactica available. A nice selection which is even more so with the addition of two independent software.
The first is Rollerdrome. An indie production which has the particularity of mixing roller skating, and which therefore asks you to perform tricks of all kinds, and third-person shooting. An original TPS, very stylized thanks to its cell-shading, developed by Roll7. The studio behind another sports license which has its fans: OlliOlli. The game takes place in 2030 in a world plagued by companies hungry for violence and excess. To satisfy their needs, and entertain the population, a new sport was born, Rollerdrome – any resemblance to Running Man would be fortuitous. It’s available in Xbox Game Pass.
The second addition to end the month is Dune: Spice Wars. A 4X strategy game a la Civilization 6, but in the Dune universe, which came out of early access on September 14. Until now, there was no console version yet, but the error has been corrected with the Xbox Series X|S version. A great catch for Microsoft and Xbox Game Pass from November 2023? Certainly. Even if it doesn’t seem to measure up to the big names of the genre to which it belongs, the general opinion on Steam is very positive. 80% of evaluations are in the green, which is a good sign. And in itself, this is not a big surprise given that Northgard, from the same studio, had also received favors from PCists.
A surprise comes to the party
Before moving on to the Xbox Game Pass program from December 2023, Microsoft has a nice surprise. Killer Instinct Anniversary Edition is available for the 10the anniversary of the cult baston license. At the same time, the game goes free-to-play, and therefore becomes free, but the edition available in Game Pass is much more comprehensive. It thus includes 29 fighters and all of the title’s premium content. In addition, it contains a double XP VIP booster, a Specialty – a technique -, but also Christmas accessories, among others.
This Killer Instinct Anniversary Edition version is included in Xbox Game Pass console and PC, while the classic game is available for free on Steam. On Xbox Series X|S, the game now supports 4K 60fps and has made some adjustments. The matchmaking should be better and the fighters have also been tweaked.
