20 years of Vinzimarkt – “No one leaves our store hungry”

Based on the philosophy of Pastor Wolfgang Pucher, the Vinzi markets see themselves as social institutions – not as supermarkets. “I do everything from procurement to customer discussions,” says Wimmer. “Actually, office work is not my thing at all.” The aim is to help the poorer people in our society as unbureaucratically as possible – everyone with a monthly income of less than 1,250 euros can shop cheaply here. These include single parents, pensioners, people from Ukraine, but also young families who were recently part of the middle class. “With us, no one leaves the shop hungry,” emphasizes Wimmer.
