This Thursday, March 24, viewers of France 2 will discover a somewhat special news since it is shortened. The reason ? The broadcast of Elysée 2022 with several presidential candidates.
The antenna of France 2 will be upset this Thursday, March 24. The channel’s viewers will not discover a new episode of Un si grand soleil and the TV news will be considerably shortened. The news, presented by Karine Baste, will indeed start at 8 p.m. and end about twenty minutes later. The reason ? France 2 has decided to bring forward the broadcast of the new number of Elysée 2022, according to Pure Media. If the channel made this choice, it is because for this new issue of the political program presented by Léa Salamé and Laurent Guimier, many candidates for the presidential election must be invited. As our colleagues note, the political show started at different times this season.
Elysée 2022 indeed started between 8:36 p.m. and 8:47 p.m. For the next issue, the show should normally start at 9 p.m., “Except last minute changes”write our colleagues from Pure Media. In the meantime, France 2 viewers have an appointment with a very dense number of Elysée 2022 in which no less than four presidential candidates were expected. But Valérie Pécresse will not be able to ensure her presence, having tested positive for Covid-19 the day after her arrival in Face à Baba. On Twitter, she announced “continue his campaign from a distance”.
Elysée 2022: who are the guests?
The candidate of the Republicans was to debate against Jordan Bardella and was to be questioned by Anne-Sophie Lapix, Patrick Cohen and Nathalie Saint-Cricq. On the Elysée 2022 set, viewers will still be able to find three other candidates. In particular Jean-Luc Mélenchon, who will answer questions from Maryse Burgot, Francis Letellier and Thomas Snegaroff. Then, Fabien Roussel, interviewed by Dominique Seux and Gilles Bornstein. Note that the candidate of the French Communist Party will face Sandrine Rousseau. In Elysée 2022, viewers will also find Nathalie Arthaud and Jean Lassalle.
