In recent days, several Spanish and French media have reported on a similar affair which took place in the Spanish village of Almendralejo, located in the province of Badajoz, between the cities of Mérida and Seville. In this town alone, no less than twenty-two teenage girls were recently victims of “deepfake porn”. Eleven of these young girls filed a complaint. Problem, although this phenomenon is now very widespread on social networks, it remains little known and insufficiently supervised by justice.

In an article published on the website of the Spanish newspaper El Paíswe learn that it is the day of the start of the school year that one of the teenagers concerned understood that she had been a victim of “deepfake porn”.
