gam. A 22-year-old man was found dead from the lake in the city of Zug. On Saturday lunchtime at 1:45 p.m., the operations control center of the Zug police received two reports that an apparently lifeless person was floating near the port in the city in Lake Zug. The sea rescue of the volunteer fire brigade of the city of Zug and the forces of the Zug police were then able to rescue the dead.
The exact circumstances that led to the young man’s death are unclear. The public prosecutor of the canton of Zug has started an investigation. The Zug police ask people who made suspicious observations in the area of the port in the city of Zug on Saturday to report to the operations center (Tel. 041 728 41 41).
