Murder alarm in Obernberg am Inn (Upper Austria): Around 3 a.m. on Friday night in the Innviertel community, a family dispute is believed to have escalated completely and claimed one life. A 59-year-old died in hospital from stab wounds. His son (22) is a suspect.
When emergency services were called to the scene around 3 a.m., the victim was still alive. The 59-year-old was taken to hospital in Ried with serious stab wounds, where he died shortly afterwards. Son suspected of the crime. A major Cobra operation was carried out on Friday night. The victim’s son is said to be an urgent suspect – the 22-year-old has already been arrested. Interviews and forensics were carried out in the early hours of the morning. The State Criminal Police Office has taken over the investigation. Further details about the terrible crime are not yet known.
