Xiaomi recently introduced a number of new products in China. In addition to the Xiaomi Mix 3 Fold and Pad 6 Max, this also includes the Redmi K60 Ultra cell phone and it is apparently becoming a real bestseller.
The smartphone sold 220,000 times in China within 5 minutes, reports the online magazine PlayfulDroid, citing information from Xiaomi on Weibo. Why is the cell phone so popular?
Strong value for money
This is probably due to the excellent price-performance ratio. For the equivalent of less than 500 euros, you can get a smartphone with a 6.67-inch OLED display that can play content at up to 144 Hertz. For most top smartphones, however, it stops at 120 Hertz. Other highlights include up to 24 gigabytes of RAM and 1 terabyte of device memory. No other smartphone currently offers this much RAM.
8K video recordings are even possible with the triple camera on the back. The Dimensity 9200+ from MediaTek also acts as an extremely powerful chip.
In Germany you will probably be able to buy the cell phone under the name Xiaomi 13T in the fall. The price in this country is probably around 800 euros.
