The Windows 11 24H2 update is coming, but not everyone will be entitled to it. Your processor must be officially supported. Or not. This tool tells you if you can still install the 24H2 without risk.
Annual Windows 11 updates are generally quite anticipated, and rightly so. They always bring a lot of improvements and new features that renew the experience to different degrees. The next one is numbered 24H2. Microsoft has confirmed that this is indeed what users are entitled to once a year. This means by extension that Windows 12 will not arrive in 2024. Unless there is a change in schedule, the Windows 11 24H2 update will arrive in September and will be rather substantial.

Technically, just because Microsoft doesn’t list your processor in its official list doesn’t mean Windows 11 24H2 won’t work on your computer. Based on the beta version 26052 of the operating system and available by clicking on the link contained in the post below, the program is a pre-installation environment (WinPE). The idea is to create a external boot media with a USB key for example and boot from it. If your PC launches into the environment, you will see a window saying that it supports 24H2 updating, regardless of your processor.
