A new trilogy

28 years later will once again be directed by Danny Boyle (Trainspotting, Slumdog Millionaire) and written by Alex Garland (Ex Machina, Civil War), already at the helm of the very first film. The feature film is presented as the inaugural opus of a new trilogy produced and distributed by Sony Pictures.

If the scenario remains shrouded in mystery, the film has still added three pretty names to its cast. First, Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass, Bullet Train), which will soon be showing in The Fall Guy and is at the heart of rumors to be the next James Bond.

For her part, Jodie Comer (Killing Eve, The Last Duel, Free Guy) will soon be on display in The Bikeriders by Jeff Nichols, alongside Tom Hardy and Austin Butler. We no longer present Ralph Fiennes, famous interpreter of Voldemort in the Harry Potter saga, and notably nominated for an Oscar for Schindler’s List And The English Patient.

We also know that Nia DaCosta (Candyman, The Marvels) has already been hired to write and direct the second part of this new trilogy, which promises a budget of 75 million dollars per film.
