2K Games is developing its own Rocket League with TRON-style vehicles

Definitely well informed about the environment, Tom Henderson has been the source of many leaks in recent months, such as the very recent Project Q, which was confirmed by Ubisoft in the days following the insider’s investigation. The latter returns today with new information in his bag, published on Exputer, which this time concerns 2K Games, which is currently in the process of developing its Rocket League-like, named Gravity Goal.

The Rocket League killer?

According to Tom Henderson’s sources, the publisher would therefore be on a project similar to the game of Psyonix, with vehicles to control and goals to score, in duels or team matches in 2 vs 2 or 3 vs 3 style.

The particularity of the game would be to place us at the controls of motorcycles rather than cars, with a design that would evoke that of the motorcycles that can be found in the license TRONwith flashy colors and a futuristic style.

And to go even further in the homage to the Disney saga, it would even be possible to throw discs at other vehicles opponents to inflict damage on them. Once hit, the vehicles would then either be slowed down or stopped, and the speed of our motorcycle would determine how much we can damage the enemies during the impact of the disc.

Henderson then declares that the game would be planned for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series, and could be free-to-play. The game would then have been entitled to a closed alpha last year, and could be announced in the coming months. We will now take everything with a grain of salt while waiting for an official confirmation from 2K Games.
