For several years now, Radiant Entertainment And Riot Games design a fighting game in 2v2 in the League of Legends universeonce baptized Project L and who will finally be named 2XKO. So far, six characters have been announced as playable, including Ekko, Darius, Ahri, Jinx (which has since disappeared from the radar), Yasuo And Illaoi which had been presented in detail just before theEVO Japan in April. These last few days, it’s another Champion who came to fight: Braum.
This character added to the MOBA in 2014 he fights with a shield as gigantic as his buildwhich could literally surf on it and which was the door to an old vault. He can even summon an adorable Poro armed with a hammer or even an army of these adorable balls of fur. In addition to its trailer of gameplay used to introduce it, a video details it further via the game designer Steve Bankert aka UpToSnuffwho specified that Braum will be playable for the first time during theEVO 2024 in Las Vegas. Again, he is referenced as the sixth Champion of the game, wondering what happened Jinx…
He will therefore have a role of defender and will be able to freeze the opponent temporarily thanks to the magic of his shield, his kit being based around a buff baptized Unbreakable. His partner will be able to attack while being protected by this bulwark, constituting a key element of his strategy.
- S1 Super: Winter’s Bite – Consumes the buff to fire a projectile, freezing the opponent on impact.
- Stand Behind Me (← S2) – Keep your S2 Super: Battering Ram grants unlimited hits and absorbs projectiles. To get through, the opponent will have to throw Braum or use an attack that breaks his armor.
- Fight, Mighty One (↓ S1) – His grab command summons a tiny, but powerful poro warrior, which leaves his target vulnerable for a moment.
- Leap, Little One (→ S1) – Throws a Poro at the opponent.
- Ultimate: Snax Time (↓ ↓ S1 + S2) – Summons all Poros in a fluffy rush that is more powerful than it looks.
A playtest online called Alpha Lab will take place from August 8 to 19Or Braum will also be playable, which is being referred to as the first draft of the full game. This demo will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in the US, Canada, UK, France, Brazil, Japan, and Mexicoand will also show what else there will be outside of simple clashes. The goal is obviously to collect as many opinions as possible from players, whether they are novices or experts. Each player with access will be able to invite a friend. The video also introduces THE Pulse Fusean automatic combo system which will allow everyone to have fun with 2XKO. The developers also mention changes made to Ahri.
Finally, you will find on the next page three excerpts from the 2XKO soundtrackmusic created respectively for the Piltover internships, Ionia And Bilgewater.
