John Wick on Prime Video, the explosive revenge of Keanu Reeves

This is how we could very roughly summarize the plot of the first John Wickin which Keanu Reeves (Matrix) breaks mouths non-stop for 1h40. Driving classic cars and dressed in his best suit, John Wick will stop at nothing to carry out his revenge and find the murderer of his beloved dog.
If you want to get up to speed with a view to catching up John Wick 4, currently in theaters, that’s good: the first parts are all available on Prime Video. The third, named Parabellum, was also a great success, in a very beautiful setting of nocturnal images. But to understand the trajectory of John Wick, we must return to these origins, to the unlikely starting point. Hyper well choreographed, the first film of the saga does not bother with the superfluous. Everything is calibrated, efficient, without fuss. And that’s all we ask of an action film of this magnitude: to make us enter an explosive bubble, for a few hours. And it turns out that John Wick even has a major bonus: the unfailing class of Keanu Reeves.

Remember: in 2019, the first visuals were unveiled for the cinema adaptation of the video game sonic. And the least we can say is that the disappointment was immense, at the sight of the absolutely awful graphics of the blue hedgehog. But finally, after a nice facelift, giving Sonic the cuteness he deserves, the film turned out to be, against all expectations, a good surprise. The feature film thus dwells on the peaceful life of the hero of Sega, in the small town of Green Hills. But Sonic is soon targeted by the government and hunted down by the evil Dr. Robotnik, who seeks to seize his powers. He then joins forces with Tom Wachowski, the local sheriff.
If you just saw Super Mario Bros, the moviein the cinema, and you want to continue your immersion in video game adaptations, we strongly advise you to give a chance to sonic the movie. Ideal for bringing together all generations, this feature film launched at full speed develops a rather convincing plot, while benefiting from an always crazy interpretation of Jim Carrey. Directed by Ryan Coogler (Black Panther, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever), Creed: The Legacy of Rocky Balboa lives up to its name perfectly. The saga, whose third opus is currently in the cinema, takes over from Rocky, a new generation version, with panache. The fights are still as aggressive, the training sessions are still as intensive and Creed can even boast of having brought Sylvester Stallone back into the ring, himself. We could fear everything from a spin-off of rocky, so long after, but we really get carried away by this dramatic film about sports, which also addresses racism in the United States with accuracy. We warn you: you’ll want to take your boxing gloves out of the closet after vibrating alongside Adonis and Rocky, in fights that are more immersive than ever.
