3 new cognations installed in Wallonia

Regulatory News:

La Française de l’Énergie (Euronext: LFDE – ISIN: FR0013030152), producer of energy with a negative carbon footprint, announces the commissioning of 3 additional cogeneration units at its Anderlues site, in Wallonia, including the installed power increases from 3.0 to 7.5 MW, in accordance with its development plan.

This very significant increase in production capacity in Belgium is taking place in a particularly favorable electricity price environment with average selling price expected at more than €200/MWh in the first quarter.

A major contribution to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

Thanks to the 5 cogeneration units now installed, the capture of mine gas on the Anderlues site will enable the group to avoid the annual discharge of more than 500 000 tons of CO2eq emissions and confirms the positioning of La Française de l’Energie as one of the main players in the ecological transition of the Walloon region.

La Française de l’Énergie therefore confirms its objective of achieving annualized revenue of €35 million and an EBITDA margin of more than 45% by the end of 2022.
