Summer Game Fest 2022 has just added three new participants to the festivities, including the indie nugget publisher. Two of them will complete the July conference programme.
The Summer Game Fest 2022 festivities are still far from over. In this non-E3 time, publishers continue to offer their own conferences. After Square Enix and its mini-showcase dedicated to Final Fantasy 7, it’s the turn of three other industry players to announce their appointments.
3 additional conferences for the Summer Game Fest 2022
It will probably not be as spectacular as the Microsoft & Bethesda Showcase this Sunday, June 12, but the three upcoming conferences should be of interest to aficionados of the publishers concerned. Starting with one of the flagships of the independent scene: Annapurna Interactive. The publisher of Stray, will present this July 28 at 9 p.m. its future productions, including Storyteller and perhaps Open Roads the narrative game under the backdrop of a road trip by the creators of Gone Home.
Nacon Connect will return on July 7 at 7 p.m. French time, with an edition offering even more content on games and accessories from the French publisher. We know that there will be Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, The Lord of the Ring: Gollum, Steelrising and even Robocop: Rogue City which was announced last year at this same conference. Perhaps Greedfall 2 will present itself in more detail for the occasion.
Koch Media and its Prime Matter label will also be back for a second edition. We won’t have to wait until July to discover this new formula that we are promised less soporific than the previous one. The Summer Game Fest 2022 Prime Matter conference will indeed be held on June 17 at 7 p.m. The publisher will opt this time for a new format focused on gameplay. It’s assumed that multiple-choice action-RPG The Last Oricru and psychological thriller The Chant will be featured. We would not be against the gameplay of Payday 3 that said.
