It is always a good idea to look at the French fashion house Chanel. The reason: trends are set here. No wonder that at this year’s Métiers d’Art Show we discovered three trends that we want to wear right away.

This year the Chanel Métiers d’Art Show took place at the handicraft center Le 19M on the outskirts of Paris. At the show, the company’s latest looks were presented and classic cuts, various materials and accessories were newly staged and combined. From knitwear to tweed to belly chains and gloves, everything is included. We have selected three trends for you that will definitely be with us for the next year.

We like cords

Knitwear is not only cozy, it also looks great. The fabric therefore works particularly well in the uniform set. A combination of scarf, cardigan, top and skirt that is easy to style is shown in a strong purple shade. The advantage is that the parts harmonize perfectly together, but can also be combined as desired. Whether the knitted top is worn with casual jeans or the knitted skirt with an oversize sweater – we love it when styling is so easy.

Crop tops are also worn in knitwear. The silver top with a small bow to tie is a wonderful style that shows that knitwear is also suitable for parties. The model also wears a heavy cardigan and lots of jewelry. The feeling of glamor and cosiness is perfectly combined here. We’d rather wear knitwear right away!

We are happy to put on these chains

When it comes to accessories, Chanel is setting a new focus this year: belly chains. They are not only perfect for a bikini in summer, but can also be worn in a wide variety of ways in winter. At the Chanel Show, the models make it clear to us with opulent and eye-catching statements around the waist and hips: belly chains also fit over clothes. With this detail on the outfit, the look becomes sexy and focuses on the core of the body. This can be used to conjure up a beautiful waist or flatter the hips.

Covered hands

Gloves are an essential accessory. They not only look classy, but above all keep the cold away. The gloves will make a real statement next year as the jewelry is worn over them. The red leather glove in combination with a large, eye-catching bracelet creates a special look. Gloves will get our full attention next year and won’t be forgotten anytime soon.
