This poignant video was produced by filmmaker Maïwenn and lifts the veil on the terrible fate that awaits dogs and cats, which are abandoned every year. A tribunal opens and the judge addresses the dog, listing all the affection the dog has shown his owners for years: "You have been criticized for being loyal to your family for seven years, for keeping your masters company in good times and bad, for giving all your affection without expecting anything in return," said the judge before concluding exclaiming "The court sentences you to the death penalty."
