3,000 unvaccinated health facility staff suspended

Hospitals, retirement homes, liberal caregivers, home helpers, firefighters, paramedics … The vaccine obligation against Covid-19 came into force on Wednesday and concerns 2.7 million professionals. But a minority still haven’t received a first dose.

According to Public Health France, which is based on samples from Medicare, as of September 12, 89.3% of caregivers had received at least one dose in structures accommodating dependent elderly people (nursing homes, long-term care units duration).
