36-year-old reported – wild ride: alcoholic driver crashes into display board

A display board stopped the involuntary ride of a 36-year-old driver in Gloggnitz in the Neunkirchen district. His driver’s license was taken away.

On Tuesday afternoon, a driver left the road with his small truck on the B17 in Gloggnitz (Neunkirchen district) and subsequently crashed into the electronic price display board of a gas station. A traffic sign and a snow pole were also knocked over during the involuntary “ride”. The 36-year-old driver from Vienna has now lost his driver’s license. Alcohol driver’s driver’s license has been taken away. An alcohol test that was carried out was negative, but the driver of the accident vehemently refused a medical drug test. The 36-year-old is expected to be reported to the Neunkirchen district administration and the Wiener Neustadt public prosecutor’s office.
