Discover this feel good film, but not only that, which is currently a hit on Netflix, to the point that it is the second most watched on the platform.

Currently second in the top most-watched films on Netflix, Tomorrow Everything Begins with Omar Sy and Clémence Poésy is much deeper than its synopsis might suggest. The public is not mistaken, since it totaled 3.2 million theatrical admissions when it was released in 2016, like the platform’s subscribers.

Samuel lives as a hardened bachelor, content with a job that does not require much effort. When one of his exes leaves him a baby of just a few months old, Gloria, he decides to find this young woman to return her child. This journey takes him to London but he is unable to find her and raises the child alone. Until her mother, Kristin, returned eight years later to collect her daughter!

Second film directed by Hugo Gélin, Tomorrow Everything Begins begins as a feel good movie based on the undeniable charisma of its main actor, but shifts into a more dramatic and unexpected aspect in its second part. It is undoubtedly this pleasant surprise which makes it so appreciated by Netflix subscribers.

The little one is played with dazzling naturalness by Gloria Colston, who we have since seen again in Les Gagnants by JoeyStarr, AZ, Alban Ivanov.

Mixing laughter and tears, Tomorrow Everything Begins is very well played and despite a few blunders (notably the final voice-over), quickly wins over, supported by quite astonishing music, with among others James Brown, Barbra Streisand or The Capitols. The soundtrack is by Rob Simonsen, American composer of 500 days together and Foxcatcher.
