This week, the Xbox firm gives you the opportunity to try no less than 4 games for free without paying a penny more than your Game Pass or Live Gold subscription. The Free Play Days at the end of August honor small independent games, some of which are very popular, but also and above all a huge Xbox exclusivity, even a system seller.
4 games playable for free on Xbox Series for all subscribers
On the menu for these Free Play Days, therefore, we find Blasphemous, the first game in what has now become a saga since the announcement of Blasphemous 2. The latter will be released in a few days, and our test is already available. The Blasphemous license, developed by a small Spanish studio, a mix of metroidvania and souls-like, the franchise has met with a nice little success with players and critics.
Then it’s the little Let’s Build a Zoo game that will be offered to you for a few days. A cute management game where, like an ultra-light Planet Zoo, you have to build and manage a colorful little zoo.
And in case the difficulty of a souls-like and round animals do not interest you, you still have The Knight Witch, an absolutely superb platform game which, in addition to having a gameplay with small onions, turns out to be a real feast for the eyes. The game indeed opts for an artistic direction close to the cartoon and it is a total success.
A huge exclusivity to test absolutely
Finally, if you are definitely not interested in independent games, know that, as on Steam, a huge Xbox exclusivity is approaching for a big weekend. However, this ultimately only concerns Xbox Live Gold subscribers since the game has been available in the Xbox Game Pass since its launch. This game is Forza Horizon 5, a massive open-world car racing game. A true system seller, FH5 sends you to Mexico in an absolutely sublime open world where you can drive as you wish at the wheel of several hundred vehicles. The game is regularly updated with free and paid content. It also received a major update recently.
