Xbox Game Pass is known for always having nice surprises in store. And what better time than the month of December, a festive period, to spoil your subscribers with great discoveries? This end of the year promises to be particularly rich. Four new games are added to the catalog, enough to continue the month on an excellent note.
Four new additions for Xbox Game Pass
We start with a bang with Rise of the Tomb Raider. Originally released in 2015, this game is the sequel to Tomb Raider, the 2013 reboot of the popular game series. In Rise of the Tomb Raider, players obviously find Lara Croft. The game takes place mainly in Siberia, where Lara searches for the legendary city of Kitej, believed to hold the secrets of immortality. Along the way, she must confront a paramilitary organization known as Trinity. We continue with Clone Drone in the Danger Zone. Behind this curious name hides a TPS arena action video game, developed by Doborog Games. Initially released in early access in 2017 and officially in 2021, this game stands out for its unique graphic style, with characters and environments composed of simple and colorful geometric figures, reminiscent of voxel structures. In Clone Drone in the Danger Zone, the player controls a humanoid robot armed with a sword or other weapons, fighting for survival in futuristic battle arenas. The originality of the game lies in the fact that the spirit of the player character is transferred into a robot body, and with each death, a new clone is activated, resuming the fight.

Xbox Game Pass also adds While the Iron’s Hot. Change of scenery with an adventure game in which you take control of a seasoned blacksmith aspiring to become a grandmaster. This game takes you on a mysterious, witty adventure. You must work with molten metals, forge and combine your creations to progress and unlock new items to craft. The title also offers exploration and several puzzles. In short, it seems to be very gentle.
We end with World War Z: Aftermath is a third-person shooter video game developed by Saber Interactive, released in September 2021. It is the evolution of the game World War Z released in 2019. Players face hordes of zombies in different cities around the world, such as Rome, Jerusalem, Moscow, and Tokyo. The game features new stories and missions in these iconic locations, enriching the already existing World War Z universe. If you liked the Brad Pitt movie, you’ll love it.
