40 years: competition – solar power plant “ready to plug in”

On the occasion of “40 years of the Carinthian Krone” our readers win! For example, a solar power plant for the balcony.

Photovoltaics is the number one topic when it comes to generating really clean, really “green” electricity that anyone can do at home. But what if you don’t have a roof? But maybe a balcony or a terrace where the sun can “heat up”? Then our weekly prize – provided by KELAG, which is celebrating a really milestone birthday this year, namely its hundredth – is a great solution to also harvest free solar power even without complicated installations, because the Kelag solar power plant has even integrated the inverter – i.e. the component that conjures up the usable alternating current from the photovoltaic direct current. And so the new owner simply needs to plug the system into a normal socket; and the self-produced solar power flows back into the grid in a cost-saving manner. This is how we can succeed in the energy transition – with many individual pieces of the puzzle
