A challenge for Eddie Murphy

Remember that today Eddie Murphy is 62 years old. The role of Axel Fowley required an enormous physical investment which he also spoke about with the publication. “It was complicated. I did Axel Foley when I was 20. I’m not in my twenties anymore. It’s an action film so it was hard. But we succeeded”, explained the actor.

It was a very physical film and I had to do demanding things… I like to stay on the couch. I don’t like jumping, shooting and running. And I had to jump and shoot and run”, he joked before continuing: “As a result…by the end of the movie, I had a knee brace and my back was ruined. But the film is going to be very special.” Netflix will stream Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F from the July 3 next.
