4G and 5G packages in February 2024

Did you know that La Poste Mobile offered mobile plans? Here are the current offers from this virtual operator under the Bouygues Telecom mobile network.

At the origin of the Mobile Post, there was Débitel. Created in 1991, this telephone operator was first bought by Swisscom then sold to SFR in 2008. The latter changed the name from Débitel to Simpleo, then Simplissime due to a name problem. Finally, SFR renamed Simplissime par la Poste Mobile following the arrival of the postal group in the shareholding.

The company is now 100% owned by Bouygues Telecom. At the end of January 2014, La Poste Mobile crossed the million customer mark and launched several 4G offers. In 2014, the “Music” package was introduced, allowing unlimited access to Universal Music’s music catalog. Via SFR, La Poste Mobile has also become an internet operator.

What mobile plans are offered by La Poste Mobile in 2024?

La Poste Mobile reviewed its offer (as well as its visual identity) in 2023 and today offers a selection of three packages covering the needs of each type of user.

La Poste Mobile also offers a series of packages adapted to seniors. The latter offer reception of a telephone with the SIM card already integrated and a complete configuration guide.

Note that the operator also offers packages that come with a smartphone as with traditional operators (Orange, Bouygues Télécom, Free and SFR). These offers are offered with a commitment of 12 to 24 months and the smartphones offered range from premium to entry-level from Apple, Xiaomi, Samsung and Honor. The package is offered at a preferential price for 6 or 12 months with the choice of purchasing the smartphone at cost or in four installments.

Can I get an eSIM with a La Poste Mobile plan?

La Poste Mobile does not currently offer the option to subscribe to a plan with eSIM.

The operator only offers classic SIM cards and it is necessary to wait for them to be delivered to your home before taking advantage of its package. This is an important element to take into account if you were planning to purchase a plan from this operator for this type of use. On the other hand, it is always possible to turn to other virtual operators offering eSIM such as Prixtel, Coriolis or YouPrice.

How can I contact Mobile Post customer service?

How can I cancel a package with La Poste Mobile?

If you wish to cancel your mobile plan with Poste Mobile while keeping your telephone number, the procedure is very simple thanks to well-regulated number portability in France. You must first select your new operator, the easiest way to do this is to consult our plan comparator, which will help you choose the best offer of the moment.

You must then take note of your RIO number, the unique identification number which allows your new operator to retrieve your line number. To do this, simply dial 3179, a free number which will tell you your RIO number as well as the remaining commitment period. This information will also be sent via SMS once the call ends.

All that remains is to subscribe to your new subscription, by indicating to the new operator your mobile phone number and your RIO identifier. It will then take care of the portability and termination of the old subscription, without any additional action on your part.
