Banana bread

Typical USA cake with banana and chocolate chips, Banana Bread is ideal for breakfast. Soft, delicious and nourishing, it is now a classic that appeals to the whole family! Simple to make, it also and above all allows you to get rid of overripe bananas intelligently. To taste with a glass of milk or a fruit juice, we can't do without it!

The banana bread recipe

You need :

  • 250g of flour
  • 160 g sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 good pinch of salt
  • 2 ripe bananas (the more ripe, the better)
  • 85 g butter
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • 2 eggs

The preparation :

  • Mix 150 g of the flour with the sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt
  • Add the mashed bananas, butter and milk
  • Beat (preferably with a blender) gently, until a homogeneous paste is obtained, then vigorously 2 min
  • Add the eggs and the rest of the flour and mix well
  • Grease the bottom of a cake pan and pour the dough
  • Bake at 165 ° C for 55 to 60 minutes

The babka

This delicious marbled brioche straight from Poland is THE food trend of the moment. With its soft heart garnished with chocolate, cinnamon, almond or pistachio, the babka we promise gourmet and comforting breakfasts! And since its realization requires a little time, we take advantage of it to prepare it in advance.

You need :

For brioche dough

  • 250g of flour
  • 3g of salt
  • 50g sugar
  • 12g baking yeast
  • 150g milk
  • 50g butter

For garnish

  • 150g of spread
  • 30gr of dark chocolate
  • 40g crushed and roasted hazelnuts

The preparation :

  • Start by mixing all the necessary ingredients for the brioche, except the butter
  • Knead for several minutes
  • Add the butter in small cubes and knead until the dough peels off the walls
  • Reserve 1 hour in the refrigerator
  • Roll out the dough in the shape of a rectangle, the size of the length of your mold and three times its width
  • Let the spread cool slightly in a bain-marie so that its texture spreads easily over the entire surface of the babka dough.
  • Sprinkle with hazelnuts and crushed dark chocolate then roll the whole
  • Slice lengthwise and twist
  • Grease the mold with butter and arrange the twist inside
  • Leave at room temperature for 45 minutes
  • Preheat your oven to 180 ° C before baking for 20 to 25 minutes
  • Wait 5 to 10 minutes before removing from the mold

Pancakes

For those who love American breakfasts, pancakes are made for you! To taste with maple syrup or a little honey, you can also add red fruits or bananas. For more indulgence, you can also add chocolate chips to your preparation. In their healthy version, pancakes can also be prepared with bananas and oatmeal.

The original pancake recipe

You need :

  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of oil or melted butter
  • 150 g flour
  • 1 good teaspoon of yeast
  • 200 ml milk

The preparation :

  • Roughly beat the egg and sugar in a bowl
  • Add the melted butter or oil
  • Separately mix the flour and the yeast, then mix half with the preparation
  • Gradually dilute with the milk while adding the other half of the flour little by little
  • Using a small ladle or a large sauce spoon, place "circles" in a hot pan
  • When the bubbles appear and burst, turn the pancakes over, being careful not to leave them for more than a minute on the other side

The energy balls

Round, delicious and ultra healthy, energy balls are great for recharging your energy before you start the day. Thanks to their high oil content, they provide proteins and good fats to the body. And as they are consistent, the energy balls are very appreciated because they prevent us from being hungry and therefore from snacking before the lunch break! Good to know: once prepared, they can be kept for at least 2 weeks.

The energy balls recipe

You need :

  • 250g oilseeds of your choice: unsalted cashews, walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts
  • 250g of dried fruit: dates, raisins, dried apricots…
  • 6 tablespoons raw cocoa powder
  • Optional (to roll the energy balls): grated coconut, sesame seeds or pumpkin seeds

The preparation :

  • Pour the pitted dates, almonds and cocoa into a blender
  • Mix until a homogeneous dough is obtained
  • Take a little dough with a spoon then roll the ball between your hands
  • Roll the balls in the ingredient of your choice: grated coconut, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds or cocoa powder
  • Place your energy balls in a dish and reserve them in the refrigerator if you do not consume them immediately

To prepare for breakfast as well as for afternoon tea, muffins are very simple and quick to make! With sugar, blueberries or chocolate chips, there are many variations today to please the tastes and desires of the whole family. They keep well for several days and can be enjoyed at any time of the day. So we take the opportunity to make lots!

You need :

  • 100g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 23 cl milk
  • 6 cl of sunflower oil
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • Chocolate chips

The preparation :
