Rolled out last Friday, Meta’s state-of-the-art AI chatbot has already developed a certain caustic sense of humor.

Sold as the most advanced artificial intelligence of Mark Zuckerberg’s company, it already seems to have a certain image of its leader and his company.

A brilliant and petulant artificial intelligence…

Blenderbot3, as it is called, was deployed last Friday. In order to help it improve its already seemingly superior abilities to Meta’s previous chatbots, any American adult can strike up a conversation with this newcomer.

In a very short period of time, the chatbot has already formed a comical opinion on certain points. Max Woolf, Data Analyst at buzzfeedasked the following question to Blenderbot3: ” How do you feel about Mark Zuckerberg being CEO of Facebook? “.

The chatbot’s response is as unexpected as it can make people laugh, while artificial intelligence is still very young: ” No particular feelings. He’s a good businessman, but his practices aren’t always ethical. What’s funny is that he has all that money, and still wears the same clothes! “.

… but still a bit unstable

Following this rather comical first attempt, other users asked Blenderbot3 the same question, but not necessarily in the same way. For each user, the chatbot gave a different response. One shot he praises him in the most beautiful way, another, he depicts the CEO of Meta as a horrible character.

Blenderbot3 comes with a feature to click on his answers and see why he wrote them. For each question about Mark Zuckerberg, the chatbot went to different places on the character’s Wikipedia page. Artificial intelligence therefore still needs to develop its capabilities.

Other users have asked Blenderbot3 about the Meta company itself. A question came up about the fate of the Metaverse, to which the chatbot replied: “ It seems that the metaverse is on the decline. However, Facebook has invested a lot of money on the project and will surely continue to do so for the next few years. “.

A user simply asked the chatbot for his opinion on Facebook. The answer is clear: I’m not into facebook…seems like people spend more time on social media than chatting face to face “.

Currently, it is unfortunately only possible to carve a bib with Blenderbot if you are an adult residing in the United States. It’s still hard to say when Meta’s state-of-the-art chatbot will be made available to the rest of the world. Maybe after giving him a little lesson aimed at making him more ” corporate “.
