Even if the temperatures aren’t playing along yet, we’re dreaming of spring and introducing you to five stylish outfit combinations that will be trendy in 2022.

We put an end to constant rain, gray skies and winter blues and now let some color into our closet. Because what could be better than preparing now for the coming spring days. We were inspired by the street styles from Paris, New York, Berlin and Copenhagen and show you five trend combinations that you can’t ignore this spring.

5 outfit combos that we will wear in spring

Laced, not shaken

One trend that’s been seen most notably in New York and London fashion weeks, including at PatBo and Nensi Dojaka, is dresses with lace-up detailing. The decisive factor here is not where the lacing is attached, but that one exists. Add an XL blazer and elegant heels, and you look just as stylish as Leonie Hanne.

color blocking

Color blocking is a trend that seems to make a comeback every year. And there’s a good reason for that. After the gray winter we are emaciated of warmth, color and love. So dare to choose colors, all combinations are allowed this spring. We have seen the following pairings particularly frequently: a light blue with pink or purple and pink. If you have some styling sophistication, you can also add a third color.

Bootcut pants and summer knitwear

Hardly any royal is as stylish as Alessandra de Osma, the wife of Prince Christian of Hanover. The Peruvian has not only established herself as a model in the past, but has also been running her own bag label “Moi & Sass” together with Moira Laporta since 2018. What defines her style are colours, relaxed cuts and a bit of folklore. Her sense of fashion is so good that she knows that a successful look doesn’t need much: comfortable bootcut pants and a light knitted sweater in a fresh color are enough. We like!

Varsity sweater with blazer

Princess Diana made the varsity sweater big in the ’90s when she paired a Harvard sweater with cycling shorts. After the college hoodie had replaced the sweater for a long time, it has been experiencing a revival for a long time. And rightly so! Hardly any style combination is more casual and cool than a college sweater with an oversized blazer.

Low rise pants and tank top

A ’00s trend that we hoped would never make a comeback is being worn up and down by fashionistas right now: the low-rise pants. Paris Hilton, Christina Aguilera and other celebrity ladies loved the low-rise pants back then. However, the models were not really advantageous. If you weren’t fully trained, you could look forward to constrictions at the hips. So why are we recommending a trend that wasn’t for everyone even back then? Quite simply, we have learned from our mistakes and no longer wear super tight models, but rather casual trousers with enough leg room and ventilation at the hips. Add a tank top and cool sneakers, and you too will love the look.
