It’s much less plan-plan than the original game, much more fun. And the authors also had the good idea of adding special cards (change of direction, exchange of hands, prohibition of play) for even more fun.

In this game, each card has several symbols. And, by a clever mathematical property, two cards always have one and only one in common. The goal is to find it as quickly as possible.
Dobble Connect takes this principle, but adds a touch of Power 4 : you have to place cards with a common symbol and be the first to line up 4 of them.
It’s funny, it’s clever, it’s frantic, it really renews the basic game. If, in addition, you have slightly abused euphoric drinks (which we obviously do not recommend), the games will be even more memorable.

In Spirit, one of the players returns from the dead to communicate with the living for a specific objective (see their newly born child, finish their book, etc.). To help him, he is asked three questions, which he answers with a ouija board.
Except that disruptive spirits, the other players who all have a different constraint (prohibition of going through a U, the second letter must be an R, etc.) prevent him from indicating the letters as he wishes.
Despite the somewhat complicated rules and implementation, Spirit is one of the most original games of this year. It is also rather divisive, you either love it or you hate it. But if, like us, you fall into the first category, you will experience some truly amazing games.
Black holea general knowledge game that is not difficult
There had to be a question-and-answer game in the selection. It is Black hole who plays this role, and not the old high-sounding game that we have all already played.
Everyone starts at 200 IQ, and goes down with each wrong answer. Einstein at 160, Homer Simpson at 90, oyster at 40… until black hole at 0, which marks the end of the game.
All the questions concern general knowledge, but there are six different types: Russian roulette where you have no room for error, info/misinformation where you have to disentangle real information from false ones, give me 5 where you have to give five answers around a theme, etc.
To make the games even more dynamic, certain levels offer small bonus effects.
In short, a fun question-and-answer game, with current themes, sometimes serious, sometimes amusing. Of course, it doesn’t revolutionize the genre, but it does the job perfectly. Little advice: if there are enough of you, play as a team, it’s even more fun.
