Two years after the release of season 4, Lucifer Morningstar is finally back on Netflix for a fifth season!
This Friday August 21, the Netflix platform finally unveils the first episodes of season 5 of its series Lucifer. So here's a little recap of the 5 things to remember before starting the first episodes of the new season!
1) Chloe and Lucifer finally said "I love you"
We want to say "Hallelujah", but we're not sure that Lucifer likes it very much, so we'll just say "finally" …
FINALLY ! Lucifer and Chloe have confessed their feelings!
We also learn at the end of season 4 that Chloe is Lucifer's first love (sorry Eve).
Unfortunately, in order to prevent the demons from descending an umpteenth time to sow discord on Earth, Lucifer must return to the Underworld immediately to resume his place on the throne … And therefore separate himself from his dear and tender Chloe.
This is the last scene of Season 4, and the two characters end up saying "I love you" to each other before exchanging a kiss. Lucifer then flies off to find his demons, leaving Chloe alone and helpless …
2) Amenadiel has regained his angel wings.
Remember, after spending his time committing various sins on earth, Amenadiel's wings began to degrade and stop functioning.
Amenadiel thought then that he had lost his wings and his powers, "simply" because he thought he no longer deserved them.
But in season 3, when Charlotte dies, when Aménadiel cradles her body, the latter finds its wings (the color of which also seems lighter than at the beginning of the series) and flies up to the sky with the soul of Charlotte to take her to paradise before returning to Earth.
3) Maze confessed his feelings to Eve
In season 4, Eve spends most of her time trying to win back Lucifer (her first love) and mourning her despair with Maze.
But, the latter seems to be starting to realize that she feels more than friendship for Eve.
Until the moment when Maze can no longer hide his feelings and decides to make his declaration to Eve.
Finally, right after the final battle against Lucifer's demons, it was Eve's turn to open her heart to our favorite demon: "I was blind to see how much I meant to you (…)".
But in the end, Eve decides to focus on herself to forget about Lucifer rather than repeating her past mistakes by starting a new love affair …
4) Ella and Dan had sex
Following Charlotte's death, Dan and Ella have become somewhat closer and spend time together to support each other in their grief.
At the end of season 4, the tension can no longer last: a touch of their hands is enough to trigger a scorching scene between the two characters … We have to admit that we had not seen it coming!
5) Amenadiel and Linda have a half-angel, half-human son
While it seems impossible that an angel could conceive a child with a mortal, it seems that Amenadiel became human enough to make it possible when the latter lost his wings and powers.
As they decide not to stay together, Linda and Amenadiel decide to manage their co-parenting together and do what's best for Charlie, their half-human, half-angel son … In short, an ultra-modern family: we a-dore!
