Both 50 Cent and Steve Aoki have played at parties in the United States that apparently violated current corona rules.

As part of the Super Bowl 2021, which will take place on the night of February 8th according to German time, numerous parties have apparently been held in the USA in the past few days. The rapper 50 Cent (45, "Get Rich or Die Tryin '") and star DJ Steve Aoki (43) also played at two parties. At the events, many visitors allegedly did not adhere to common corona rules such as social distancing.

While Aoki hung up in Tampa, Florida, 50 Cent performed in nearby Saint Petersburg. According to reports from the US celebrity portal "TMZ", the corona rules were largely disregarded at both celebrations. In the video clips published for this purpose, people are sometimes densely packed and often seen without protective masks.

Those responsible should pay

According to WFLA-TV, a local broadcaster, called the Tampa Police Department the events as "incredibly disappointing". Rick Kriseman, 58, the mayor of Saint Petersburg, said that the Super Bowl should not be celebrated this way at this time. "It's not safe or smart. It's stupid" wrote Kriseman on Twitter. You want to look at the whole thing "very carefully and it could cost someone significantly more than 50 cents".
