Already a mother of six children, a 51-year-old American will welcome a new child after having had her tubes tied twice.
Her eldest and her future baby will be 35 years apart. Mother of six, Kimberley Chasteen, an American from Saint Louis, Missouri, is expecting her seventh child at age 51. And if the news may surprise given her age, it is above all the fact that she had recourse to two tubal ligations which raises questions. The auxiliary nurse had indeed undergone this operation after the birth of her first three children a little over thirty years ago. But after her remarriage, Kimberley Chasteen changed her mind and had three children again. After they were born, she had surgery again, but recently change of opinion.
Indeed, the American met a man younger than her, and the two wanted to have a child, reports the Mirror. Three years ago, she again underwent a restoration of his tubes. But the poor quality of her eggs and scar tissue from previous operations made future pregnancy nearly impossible. She therefore decided to pay more than 27,000 euros for in vitro fertilization with an egg donor. Kimberley Chasteen finally got pregnant and expecting her seventh child.
The mixed reaction of his six other children
On TikTok, her second daughter Kayla, 33, spoke about her mother’s decisions. She confided that the latter had not told her children that she had again resorted to an operation to restore her tubes. “When she told us she wanted to try for another child, we weren’t very supportive at first”, confessed Kayla. In question, the problematic relationship with the young man, whom his children considered toxic. Eventually, when Kimberley Chasteen got pregnant, she was dating another man and was supported by his children. She was able to experience her pregnancy alongside her eldest daughter Jessica, also pregnant. She must give birth on may 5 and will have, like her daughter, a little boy.
