Honor is setting aside its Magic range for a while to launch the Honor X8, a 5G phone with a classic technical sheet.
After an Honor Magic 4 Pro that we really appreciated, and a slightly less praised Honor Magic 4 Lite, it’s the turn of another series than the Magic to deploy. This is the Honor X8.
This 5G smartphone is resolutely aimed at the entry-level of the Chinese brand with its Snapdragon 480 Plus chip and its price of 269 euros. As often at this price, a large battery accompanies it, here of 5000 mAh. On the RAM side, count 6 GB of RAM with the possibility of tapping into the 128 GB ROM to add 2 GB. background apps if the need arises.
It aims for robustness
The Honor X8 5G does nearly as well as the latest Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 when it comes to charging with 22.5W of power. Enough to refuel and enjoy a little longer its 90 Hz screen whose Honor does not specify the screen technology (which leads us to think that it is LCD).
The photo part is provided by three fairly classic sensors, 48 ​​megapixels in wide-angle, a macro and a depth sensor of 2 megapixels each.
Honor X8 5G price and availability
The Honor X8 5G is available in two colors, black and blue. It will join the stalls of Orange, SFR, Amazon as well as the Honor site on September 26 at a price of 269 euros.
