6 ideas of physical exercises for children

Our children need to let off steam! Here are some ideas of physical and sports activities to do at home so that our cherubim get used up.

Confinement requires, we must constantly renew ourselves to find something to keep our children busy. If possible, activities that allow them to exercise well, so that they do not overflow with energy before bedtime (and that we can FINALLY rest). But then, with the new restrictive measures for outdoor outings, it has become difficult for them to let off steam, especially when you are not lucky enough to have a garden.

Rest assured, the Internet having become our best friend in recent days, we have managed to find sports videos for brats on Youtube, offering various exercises for all ages. Yoga, fitness, Zumba … Be sure, they will get their physical activity and sleep better at night. These videos also have a playful side, since they allow them to learn to coordinate their movements, improve their concentration, surpass themselves and develop a taste for sport. Yoga is also ideal for anxious children, since this activity allows them to discover relaxation techniques. In short, they will only benefit from it. You can also follow the exercises with them so that it becomes a fun activity to practice as a family.

Why not start a sports routine at home? For example, you can practice 15 minutes of family Yoga every evening to relax. Or develop a fun exercise route to do with your little ones, after their school hours at home. They will always be very motivated!

Exercise yourself through fun exercises

Kevin, coach of the Gym direct channel, offers to move your children in all directions with several different fitness exercises! The +: in this video, the movements are not only performed by the coach but also by children, which can motivate others!

This second video was made especially for the confinement period by the coach Alexandre, from Move Your Fit and offers you 5 fitness exercises for parents and children, to be performed three times. A great way to spend your time with your cherubim.

Zumba and dance to learn coordination!

What if we offered our cherubim a Zumba class? In this video, we follow the movements of the children and the sports coach to move as much as possible and dance to the famous song “I like to move it”. This exercise is very simple and allows you to work out while having fun!

For the little ones, we offer a video of nursery rhymes with gestures. Our toddlers will be able to reproduce the movements of the cartoon character, adapted for their elderly, while learning new nursery rhymes.

Yoga to relax

In this Yoga course offered by Doctissimo, the yoga teacher and sophrologist Delphine Bourdet uses terms adapted for children to make them discover the different movements of the discipline.

“10 minutes of relaxation for the little ones”. Thanks to this cartoon, in which the narrator addresses the child directly, our cherubim after various Yoga postures to relax!
