When a new version of an OS arrives it is always quite difficult to convince. Proof of this is with WIndows 11 which is struggling to be accepted. Explanations.
The research firm AdDuplex has just published a precise report in which it explains frankly the rate of adoption of Windows 11 and it is quite surprising. Take a look at the graph below:

The different data are based on a sample of 5,000 applications from the Windows Store which provide some information on the different uses. Thus we learn that Windows 11 represents only 19.7% of uses. Note, however, that from 2025, support for Windows 10 should officially cease. This should encourage more than one to move on.
A not-so-smooth transition
The problem is that it is necessary to have a TPM 2.0 compatible processor, except for that, you need a recent PC. And even then it’s not necessarily given to everyone to do it, since sometimes even with a compatible computer, you have to activate the TPM 2.0 manually in the BIOS of your PC. The explanation is also given by Microsoft on its site. An approach which is not so complicated but which has something to put off more than one user.
The other concern is that the first months of Windows 11 also saw instability problems appear for owners of AMD processors. And that remains in memory despite everything. It remains to be seen now how Microsoft will convince the “diehards”.
